Ok, so as you may have already figured out with the title of this post, we're working with crescent rolls again. I really just can't get enough. I hope you feel the same! They are so simple and I feel like the possibilities are endless. And lucky for you, I just bought a pack from Costco (currently $2.50 off with their coupon!), so I see more creations in our future.
Today's recipe is actually one I've been making for a while. My stepmom got it from a friend and it really couldn't be easier. It's perfect for Fall mornings or when you're craving some sweet cinnamon apple goodness.
Just a few ingredients
Peeled, cored and sliced apples
Sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.
Rolled up. More cinnamon sugar. Baked until golden brown.
Yum.
Apple Cinnamon Crescent Rolls
{makes 8}
Ingredients:
8 oz. package of crescent rolls
1 tart apple, peeled, cored and cut into thin pieces
Cinnamon
Sugar
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Separate crescent rolls along perforated lines. Top with a few apples, some cinnamon and sugar. You may need to manipulate the dough a bit around the apples to make sure everything is covered and tucked in. Once rolled up, sprinkles with additional cinnamon and sugar. Repeat for all 8 pieces. Cook in preheated oven for 10-13 minutes, or until golden brown.
