#21 on the list was to memorize 3 bible verses. I guess I better start with one, huh? And to be perfectly honest, I'm not one of those amazing people who has practically the whole bible stored in their head. I've never been one to put a serious amount of effort into memorizing verses. No better time to start than the present, right?
With more than 30,000 verses in the bible (uh, yes I just googled that), I have no idea where to start. But the one that's sticking out to me is Ephesians 5:2. The only part I can remember is "walk in love". Those are some pretty good words if you ask me.
Side note: I made this :) Click here for the free printable pdf version! (I'm new to creating printables, but I think it should fit in an 8x10 frame)
I know there are more words, so I figured I should look it up....
"Therefore, be imitators of God and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma"
{Ephesians 5:1-2 NASB}
Quite the tall order, no? Me? An imitator of God? Thank the Lord He gives me some help, because there is no way I'm doing that on my own.
So now I'm off to memorize the verse. How am I doing that? Well I started with this in the bathroom:
Keep up to date by liking \love, lindsey on Facebook to see where else I'm writing this verse to get it stuck in my brain.
